Female

Female viewers are more then male because the people in the program are mainly girls. Some part of the show only girls understand why tears are coming out and joy are bursting on a small matter.

Young adults

Young adults from the age of 13 till 24 will want to watch this program because some of their idol maybe in the program and also the people in the program are also around that age. It relates to the target audience itself too.

Seniors
Seniors from the age 50 and above would watch too because they are retired. Staying at their home which are in a village makes them want to watch how a group of young girls work in a village.

Koreans

This is a korean reality program which is captured by using korean. So the target audience in korea will be larger.

International

Saw a link talking about in the program, what viewers enjoy most was interractions within that small rural community, which indirectly also represents the cultural value of traditional simple Korean life. These were the things that international viewers really want to see - traditional Korean lifestyle, language, food, customs, agriculture, family and social values, these sort of things.

Bonding between members or different type of people

T-ara’s Hyomin revealed a certification shot with Sunny. The photo was most probably taken during the filming of ‘Invincible Youth 2′.

On May 30th, through her personal Twitter account, Hyomin posted, “Today is May 30th, I’ve received my birthday present. This kid…Sseobyung’s resurrection’. Along with her tweet, Hyomin attached a photo of herself and Sunny.

Sunny and Hyomin showed their close friendship by putting their faces close to one another while having the photo taken. Sunny’s cute facial expression particularly, has been garnering a lot of attention.

Sunny and Hyomin were known for their close friendship in the first season of ‘Invincible Youth’ back in 2010 and the special bond between the two had since become the topic of interest among fans and viewers of the show.

By looking at this, we can see that friendship do comes during a really program because they are not acting it out but trying their best to get along. At the end, they end up as best friends.

True Feelings

I do not know whether did I make this correct. This is the last episode of season one. Some people may think that reality program are fake, somehow people still think they are acting all out. At the beginning, I do agree on people who think that way because I myself do think that way too. My mind will be thinking, how could a group of strangers stay together or even work together like a big family? Maybe they are acting all their fake personality out to give good impression to the audience or fans? 

But after watching this reality program for a year and a half, I see awkward at the beginning, tolerance in the middle or I can say getting along with different type of personality people and at the end, tears showed how thick is their friendship.

In this program, the members meet up together every week for a year and a half without any script. Every episode are real from their heart. The way they act and respond are all real. Thats how reality program touch a peoples heart.

Narrative
Narrative of the whole program are depending on what are they planning on doing on that day.

This episode is when they have the time to only have a chance on calling someone that they miss the most. They have lesser time to spend with their family and also lesser time to call their family. So by getting one call to their loves one, makes a very big difference. 

This is another episode which is capture during the christmas time. So they placed decoration around the village and presents are giving out. In return, the chief of the group invites some handsome guys artist as guest or I can say presents to them. Although 7 of the girls are from different famous group singers but they are like normal girls when they see guys are around.

All the video links that I've look through is from iTheTime Blog. They have almost every episode from both seasons with english subtitles.

The camera are mainly still in the program and mainly following each character. There are no fix angle of each scenes. Its just recording our own video. The frame are captured by close up, middle shot and long shot which shows the whole body.

Western Vs Korean Reality Program

I read a link about Western vs Korean Reality Program which stated about how boring is a Western Reality Program. The link is http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/western-reality-shows.

I do agree on some part which I feel that korean reality programs do stands out much more. The whole entire programs bring meanings to the audience. But in another way, western reality programs have more strong language during the reality programs. They are much more open minded in stuff like that. Maybe because I grew up as an asian so I still prefer Korean Reality Programs although my parents are very open minded.

Back to my point. The mise-en-scene of both western and korean reality programs are similar. Reality programs does not need to fix any mise-en-scene. Everything are by natural depending on what they are doing on that day or episode I mean. Like our daily life.

Values and attitude are brought up natural in the show because there are no script for it. Everything is so real, it touches the audience easily.

Short Summary

We Got Married is a korean reality program. This program broadcast up to 3 seasons. 1 season last for a year.

We Just/Got Married, is a Korean Reality show where celebrities are paired up as married couples.

There isn't any script for them but real feeling towards each other. That is why this program bring real feeling to the audience. Every season they will have minimum of 3 couples from actors to artists to singers. Every couple have around 20 minutes each on the program.

The youtube link above have all the link of the season 2 We Got Married on the Khuntoria couple part. This girl are from a girl group called f(X) name Victoria and she is from china. The guy is from a boy group called 2PM name Nichkhun and she is from Thailand. This is the first time having an international couple in the show. I love them so much. By bringing different cultures together, we can see how they learn from each other. Continue watching it and you will love it.:)

Mise-en-scene

Background decoration - Natural settings. There are no need of setting anything because everything are natural. Reality program does not need any props behind.

Lighting - Natural Lighting. Because this is a reality program.

Costume - Depending on the places they go but mainly casual because reality program is not acting.

Location - The apartment or house that the director prepared and other outdoor places which depends on where they going.

Values that I've learn in this reality program are tolerance and real attitude towards each other. The tolerance between both of the strangers at the beginning till the end. This is because the real feeling from awkward to friends to couple are very real. So it touch to all the audience including me.

Short Summary

Hello baby is a reality program from Korea. They have to 6 seasons already. The images above show from the first season till the current seasons. 

This is a reality program which is about a group of singers taking care of a baby or more then one. To allow them to learn how to be a responsible person on their future. They need to take care the baby like they own them. They need to take a very high responsible on the baby. For example, on their educations, food wise and etc. They need to let them learn how to do stuff like what the parents will do.

One seasons last for 3 months which is 12 episode. 

This is the first episode of season 5 Hello baby. This season is about a group called MBLAQ which consists of 5 member taking care of 3 babes of the age of 2 years old. You can have a look how they come through the process with the children. Enjoy:)

Mise-en-scene

Background decoration - There are no props on this program because this is a reality program. The background decoration changes according to the location.

Lighting - Natural lighting such as daylight because reality program does not need lighting.

Costume - Costume and attire wear are casual cloths because this is a reality program.

Location - Home and outdoors depending on where they going and all. There are no fix place or location.

Values that I've learn in this program are the relationship between the babies and attitude between everyone. Babies learn how to speak correctly to a adult and how the culture works in korea because 3 of the babies have one foreign father or mother. So most of them do not have a correct way of teaching the traditional culture that they need to learn in korea. Day by day, the relationship between 5 members and the babies are getting stronger. The bonding between all of them are one of the best value that I've learn from it.

Short Summary

Youth incredible program is a korean reality program which been divided into 2 different season. The first season lasted for a year. Season 2 is still going on now in year 2012. The only different between both is the members that are in the show.

This Reality Show is about a group of girl from different group of band or company living in a village. They need to learn how to survive in the village rather then their own city life. Some of them are brought up in the city and never try leaving in a village before.

They learn how to grow vegetables, catch fish, cook dinner, look after the old folks and many things that living in the city will never have the chance of learning. This program is to let the fans or people know that singers or artist are still a human being, they still can work the rough way thru life. On the other side, people can see the real attitude or faces of the singer or artist itself through in program without wearing fashionable clothing and thick make up. This program shows a natural side of the person. :)

I can't find the first episode but this is the second episode of season2 with english sub. The other episode are all link with this youtube channel.:)

Background decoration - Village house. No props needed because this is a reality program.

Lighting - Natural lighting such as daylight, ceiling light and etc.

Costume - Village style with baggy pants which allows people to bend to work easily and cloths which is simple to work too. This is opposite the way a singer and artist needs to wear because this is to relate to the show.:)

Location - The first season was shot in a village called Yuchi-ri which is located at Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do in South Korea. The second season took place in a fishing village in Daebu Island, Ansan, Gyeonggi province.

Values that I've learn while watching this program is that the team work between one another to finish a task. For example, fishing for their dinner. I've also learn their independence during the show on how to cook for 200 old folks, how to grow vegetables, how to keep the farm clean, how to take care of the animals and etc. The values they gave out are very strong not because they are an artist or singers but because they are a normal person. :)

Short Summary

Shinhwa broadcast is a Korean Reality Program. This show is about a group of 6 singers which came back from their national service after 4 years as they promise their fans on their last concert. They are one of the lasting boy group in korea which last for 14 years. They did their comeback songs this year and started with this program to let their long lasted fans to know more about them after disappearing for 4 years.

Each episode they will be a short mission to get a long each other.  For example, the image above is about them pursuing the most children to like them. The way they tried to make the children to like them are so funny. On the episode you can also see who is the least children lover.

Each episode bring real, joy, tears to the audience. I am also one of the big fan and I'm still watching it every single week once.

This is the first episode with english subtitle on it. So enjoy ya:)

Mise-en-scene

Background decoration - For example, first episode which is the video above which i've just posted. The crew decorated the studio like a room which have sofa and all to make it feel real. But mainly shot outdoor and the props are following the theme or mission that they have to to that day.

Lighting - On the studio, it will have lighting crew giving the lighting depending on the them itself but outdoors are mainly natural lighting because this is a reality program.

Costume - Depending on the mission. For example, the video above is at the 17th episode. This episode is above back to school. So the attire or costume will be school uniform to relate to the theme.

Location - Depending on the mission itself. For example, on the video above which having a them of back to school. So the whole entire episode was shot in school.


Values that I've learn while watching this program is that loyalty and bonding between members and fans. The group has last for 14 years together on stage and even lives together, their friendship never ends. The promises that they make 4 years ago on their last concert is so hard to keep but yet they kept and came back with they new song title. The loyalty to their fans kept them so strong to coma back as one.

I can say they are one of my role model in a way. :)

Short Summary

Full House which starring 2 foreigners and a famous boy group in Korea called Super Junior. The show was broadcasted during 2006 and its one season type of show. I was only 15 years old when I watch this show and I still remember it clearly.

The show was about a new famous boy group artist trying to make their way to international. So the directors (but in korea they call them PD) invites 2 lovely girl foreigners by letting them to learn more language and culture. One of them are from Russia and another are from Japan but she is mix american. The moment Super Junior brings korean culture to them and they bring their culture to them bring so much laughter to me as the audience. The way they make the both foreigners not to feel awkward but as a family. The last episode when they planned a farewell party to both of them for being with them about 3 months. Tears are dropping everywhere and so do me. This was the first korean reality program that I watch.

I can't find the first part of the first episode where 13 of the members went to the airport to fetch both of the foreigners. The moment when they try to speak english but found out that they do know how to speak korean are very funny. This video on top is the second part of the first episode and so on. This part is when they invite them to their dorm and have a ice breaking section.

Mise-en-scene

Background Decoration - Natural stuff. For example, as in the video the move to places and props are the places itself.

Lighting - Natural lighting such as daylight and ceiling light because this is a reality program.

Costume - Casual clothes because they are capturing everyday life like an ordinary person although 13 of the boys are artists.

Location - Super Junior's dorm and the neighborhood itself.

Values that I've learn from it was that different culture can still be united as one. Language is not a problem because if you have the will or heart to learn, you will learn or get it fast. The relationship between friends in the show are so real and touching, it show so obviously that they are not acting. The bond between the members and their 2 new foreigners friends are so strong that I myself should learn from them.

Short Summary

Giuliana and Bill is one of my all time favorite reality show. The program showed how both of them met, date, propose, married and move on to their life. Both of them look so cute together. They also showed how they try to make time to meet each other because Giuliana is always busy on her work as a live broadcaster at E! News in LA and her husband which is a success businessman working in Chicago. They always have this problem because no ones want to scarifies their job but they still truly love each other.

E! New reporter Giuliana Rancic and her husband, "Apprentice" winner Bill Rancic, lead a whirlwind life. She's a TV personality in LA, while Bill is a real estate developer and businessman in Chicago. These newlyweds live in different cities, with very different lives, but still manage to make it work.

 In the show, it also show the progress of Giuliana try on many way of having a baby and at the end she got it although she passed through a lot of different obstacles.

The up and down of their lives are all being captured on the show. I do feel their up and downs. This is how reality programs are so powerful. It is so real until the audience feel it too.

Mise-en-scene

Background decoration - All the background decoration are followed by the location depending where Giuliana and Bill go. Props are not a need because this is a reality program.

Lighting - Natural Lighting. For example, ceiling light, daylight and etc. During Giuliana working, lightning are being placed depending on the studio. 

Costume - Formal wear normally because they are working people. But at home they normally wear casual clothes as an ordinary person do.

Location - Chicago and LA sometimes Italy thats where Giuliana's family are. Chicago is where Bill lives and his family are. LA is where Giuliana works and hope to stay for the future.

Values that I've learn from them are the bonding relationship of both of them and their family. The strong love to their family members always come first then work come second although both of them love their jobs a lot too. Nevertheless, the process of 2 person comes together. From 2 different places and culture then combine it as one.

The sweetness of them always gave me goosebumps and is a good sign.:)

This is one part of show which Giuliana finally have her time to meet up with a gang of girlfriends after being married to Bill. Enjoy.:)

This is an American Reality Television Series. The show was premiered on E! channel during the Oct 2007. This TV reality programs have up to 9 seasons.

Short Summary

This show is mainly focusing on the personal lives of each members in the Kardashian and Jenner family. The whole entire show are about each of their lives, how they are brought up and some of they personal life experiences are all broadcasted. For example, one of the daughter's wedding are broadcasted too. After that, divorced. 

This is one of the episode 3 part 1 from season 7. As you can see the mother are trying hard to convince her children to do something which are good for them. And there are many more stuff so on.

Mise-en-scene

Background decoration - Their natural tools are their decoration because it is happening naturally on their daily life and it is real. So there are no props to prepared.

Lighting - Natural like ceiling light, street light, house light and etc. Because this is a reality program.

Costume - Fashionable style of clothing because of their life their living. They are also celebrities and rich. By look at their costume, you can see that too.

Location - America. Mainly shot at their house or they work place.


Values that I've learn in this TV program is the bond between sisters and family. They are brought up in a broken family which their parents are divorced. But the 3 sisters and 1 brother work their life together. Although they might fight, but we can still see they still love their family a lot.
